It's designed for motor protection in industrial control panels, combining a magnetic and electronic trip unit to handle both overload and short-circuit faults.
Rated current is 2 A, but the magnetic tripping range spans 12 to 28 A — this covers motor inrush without nuisance trips on smaller motors. The motor power table shows it's sized for motors from 0.25 kW up to 1.5 kW depending on line voltage (400 V to 690 V AC). Utilisation category AC-3 means it's rated for switching squirrel-cage motors during running, not just isolating them. The 40000-cycle electrical durability at AC-3, 440 V gives a realistic service life for a panel that sees a few cycles per hour.
The EverLink BTR screw connectors accept cables from 1.5 mm² up to 95 mm², with separate torque specs for smaller and larger conductors (5 N·m for 1.5–10 mm², 9 N·m for 16–95 mm²). IP40 protection means it's fine for dry indoor panels but not for washdown environments.
Certified to EN/IEC 60947-4-1 (motor starters) and EN/IEC 60947-2 (circuit breakers). Suitable for isolation per IEC 60947-1. Fire resistance tested to 960 °C per IEC 60695-2-11.
