Product Description and Key Ratings
The LADR09 is an off-delay time delay auxiliary contact block from the TeSys Deca range, configured as 1 normally open plus 1 normally closed contact. The time delay range is 0.3 to 3 seconds, set via an external adjustment on the front face. It mounts on the front of a TeSys Deca contactor or reversing starter, occupying the auxiliary slot, and connects via Faston terminals rated for 10 A conventional free air thermal current at 60 °C. Rated operational current per IEC 60947-5-1: 6 A at 120 V AC-15 (pilot duty), 1.04 A at 690 V AC-15, 0.55 A at 125 V DC-13, and 0.1 A at 600 V DC-13. Minimum switching capability is 5 mA at 17 V, which means it can reliably switch low-level PLC inputs and signal-level loads without contact wetting issues. The block carries an IP20 degree of protection per IEC 60529, suitable for installation inside a closed control panel. Mechanical durability is rated at 5 million cycles.
Integration Notes
The block mounts on the front of a TeSys Deca contactor or reversing starter, occupying the auxiliary contact slot. Faston terminals (0.25 in / 6.35 mm) accept standard spade connectors; strip length and crimp tool selection follow the manufacturer's wiring recommendations for 0.75 to 2.5 mm² stranded wire. The off-delay function starts when the contactor coil is de-energised; the timing period runs from the instant of coil drop-out. The permissible short-time rating allows 100 A for 1 second, 120 A for 500 ms, and 140 A for 100 ms at 60 °C — relevant for inrush loads like solenoid valves or small motor starters.
