It is a Category B breaker (selectivity category per IEC 60947-2), meaning it is designed for selective coordination in a distribution system — upstream faults clear without taking downstream circuits out. The 100 kA Icw for 1 second tells you it can pass that fault current until the upstream device clears, which is the whole point of a Category B breaker in a main or tie position.
