The Schneider Electric LV847608 is a MicroLogic 6.0 X electronic control unit for the MasterPacT range of air circuit breakers. It provides LSIG protection — long-time, short-time, instantaneous, and ground-fault — with an adjustable trip unit rating spanning 400 A to 6000 A depending on the breaker frame (MTZ1, MTZ2, or MTZ3). The unit integrates a power meter accurate to ±0.5 % for current and voltage, and ±1 % for active power and energy. It logs alarms, events, min/max values, and trip context — data a commissioning engineer pulls via Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, or USB.
What the LSIG ratings mean for selectivity
LSIG gives you four independent protection curves. Long-time delay adjusts in 0.5 s steps, with a range of 12.5 to 600 s at 1.5× Ir. Short-time and ground-fault delays are adjustable, and zone selective interlocking (ZSI) is built in — so downstream faults clear without upstream tripping. For a site electrical engineer coordinating a distribution board, ZSI means you can set tighter bands and still maintain full discrimination.
Integration into a MasterPacT breaker
This control unit mounts into the breaker's electronic cradle. It supports 3P 3d, 4P 3d, 4P 3d + N/2, 4P 4d, and 4P 3d + OSN neutral protection settings. Communication ports (Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, USB) let a panel OEM wireman commission protection parameters and retrieve logs without opening the front cover.
Standards and environmental limits
Designed to IEC 60947-2 (low-voltage switchgear) and IEC 60092-202 (marine electrical installations). Relative humidity tolerance of 95 % at 55 °C per IEC 60068-2-30. Altitude rating to 5000 m with voltage derating above 2000 m.
