380 V AC 50 Hz coil for TeSys D contactors
The LX1D4Q5 is a replacement contactor coil from the Schneider TeSys D range, wound for 380 V AC 50 Hz control circuits. It is the service part for the contactor frame, not the full contactor assembly — the coil swaps into the existing TeSys D magnet stack. Inrush power is 90 VA at 50 Hz; once the contactor seals, the hold-in power drops to 7.5 VA. The control circuit voltage limits are 0.8...1.1 Uc at up to 55 °C, so a 380 V coil stays pulled in down to about 304 V and up to 418 V at the coil terminals.
Obsolete — sourcing through independent channels
Schneider has marked the LX1D4Q5 as obsolete. Available through independent surplus and new-old-stock channels. Quantities are lot-specific; availability and pricing are confirmed at RFQ against the BOM line. No stock-holding claim is made here — each request is quoted individually.
What fits — panel and contactor compatibility
This coil is the AC 50 Hz variant for the TeSys D contactor frame. The 380 V AC rating matches European 400 V line-to-line control circuits derived from a 400/230 V distribution system. The AC coil type means it operates on sinusoidal control voltage, not DC or rectified AC. The coil mounts directly onto the TeSys D contactor magnet assembly — no adapter or bracket needed. The inrush-to-hold power ratio (90 VA to 7.5 VA) is typical for AC-operated contactor coils; the control transformer supplying the circuit must be sized for the inrush peak, not the steady-state hold-in figure.
