The LX1D6GG5 is a replacement contactor coil from the TeSys Deca range, wound for 155 V AC 50 Hz control circuits. It is designed to fit TeSys Deca contactors rated 80 through 95 A — the coil that pulls in and holds the main power contacts. The coil draws 200 VA inrush at 50 Hz (cos φ 0.75) and holds at 20 VA (cos φ 0.3). Heat dissipation runs 6 to 10 W at 50/60 Hz, so panel builders should account for that thermal load when grouping multiple contactors in a confined enclosure. The coil has no built-in suppressor module — if your application requires surge suppression, you will need to add an external RC snubber or varistor across the coil terminals.
Because there is no direct replacement from the manufacturer, a redesign or substitution review is the recommended long-term fix. If you need a drop-in coil for an existing panel, the surplus channel is your option; for new builds, plan to select a current-production coil from the TeSys range that matches your control voltage and contactor frame.
Control circuit voltage and operating limits
The control circuit is rated 155 V AC 50 Hz. The coil will pick up reliably between 0.8 and 1.1 Uc at 50 Hz (124 to 170.5 V) and will drop out between 0.3 and 0.6 Uc (46.5 to 93 V). At 60 Hz the pickup range shifts to 0.85 to 1.1 Uc (131.75 to 170.5 V). These limits apply at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C. The coil's average resistance is 63.01 Ω at 20 °C. The hold-in power consumption of 20 VA means the coil stays cool during continuous duty, but the 200 VA inrush spike should be factored into control transformer sizing if multiple coils pull in simultaneously.
