What this coil is
The LX1FK280 is a TeSys F contactor coil — a replacement coil for the TeSys F contactor range, designed to be swapped into the contactor frame. It operates on a 265...277 V AC control circuit at 40...400 Hz. This coil draws 1100 VA inrush at 68 °F (20 °C) and settles to 18 VA holding power. The inrush resistance is 56.5 Ω; the holding resistance is 1490 Ω. Heat dissipation runs 18 W across the 40...400 Hz range. Opening time is 100...170 ms; closing time is 40...75 ms.

Coil voltage and control circuit notes
The control circuit is AC only, 40...400 Hz. Operational voltage range is 0.85...1.1 Uc at 131 °F (55 °C). Drop-out occurs at 0.3...0.5 Uc. This coil has no built-in suppressor module. If the contactor frame or panel design expects a built-in varistor or RC snubber, an external suppressor must be added across the coil terminals to protect the control circuit from switching transients. The closed-circuit inductance is 7.3 H, which matters for sizing external suppression components — a higher inductance slows current decay and increases the voltage spike on opening.
Ambient operating temperature range is 23...131 °F (-5...55 °C). The coil mounts into the TeSys F contactor frame — no DIN-rail or panel footprint of its own; it is a drop-in replacement part for the contactor assembly.
