Coil for LC1G265-330/3P — control voltage and mating pair
The LX1G3RLSEN is the control module for the TeSys Giga LC1G265-330/3P standard contactor — it is not a standalone coil but the plug-on electronic control block that mates with those frame sizes. The 200...500 V AC/DC control circuit voltage covers both 240 V and 480 V control panels without a separate transformer tap. Built-in bidirectional peak limiting replaces the need for external varistor or RC snubber networks on the coil — the electronics handle the inductive kick internally, which simplifies panel wiring and reduces component count per starter.
Power draw and thermal budget
Inrush is 300 W / 530 VA for the 20...35 ms opening and 40...55 ms closing stroke; once sealed, hold-in drops to 9 W / 16.1 VA. That low sealed power means the coil runs cool inside a crowded enclosure — the 5 Mcycle mechanical durability rating is realistic at the rated 600 cycles/minute maximum at 140 °F (60 °C). Push-in terminals on the control circuit accept solid or stranded wire from AWG 26 to AWG 12 (0.2...2.5 mm²) without ferrules, or flexible with ferrules down to AWG 24. The dual termination points let you loop the control voltage through multiple coils without a separate terminal block.
Standards and environmental limits
Listed to EN/IEC 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1A, and CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1 — the contactor standard for motor starters and controllers. Pollution degree 3 per IEC 60947-1 means it is rated for the conductive dust and humidity typical in industrial panels, not just clean-room environments. Operating altitude is 3000 m without derating, 5000 m with a derating factor. Ambient operation spans -25 °C to +60 °C, with storage from -60 °C to +80 °C. The IP20 finger-safe housing protects against accidental contact during maintenance.
