Control voltage limits — the real-world fit
The drop-out threshold is 0.1 to 0.3 Uc (20 to 60 V DC), and the operational range is 0.85 to 1.1 Uc (170 to 220 V DC) at up to 55 °C. That means a 200 V nominal supply needs to stay above 170 V at the coil terminals under load — a long cable run or a sagging power supply will drop it out. No built-in suppressor module, so you'll want a free-wheeling diode across the coil if the drive circuit doesn't already have one.
This coil mounts directly onto the TeSys Deca 80 A contactor frame. The DC standard coil means the contactor is intended for a DC control bus — common in panel designs where the control voltage is rectified from the AC line or fed from a battery-backed DC supply. Ambient operating range is -5 to 60 °C, so it's fine inside a ventilated enclosure but not for direct outdoor exposure.
