The LX4FH030 is a replacement contactor coil from the Schneider Electric TeSys range, designed for DC wide-range control circuits at 30 V DC nominal. It is a service part — the coil itself, not the full contactor assembly — meant to restore a TeSys FH-series contactor to service without replacing the entire switching block. Operating time is 40 to 50 ms on closing and 40 to 65 ms on opening, which is typical for a DC-operated contactor coil in this class. The control voltage limits are 0.85 to 1.1 times Uc for reliable pick-up at 55 °C, and dropout occurs between 0.15 and 0.2 times Uc — meaning the coil releases cleanly below about 4.5 to 6 V DC, preventing chatter on a sagging supply. Average coil resistance is 1.37 Ω during inrush and 327.7 Ω in the holding state at 20 °C. That inrush-to-hold ratio is what lets the contactor pull in with high force then reduce power consumption once sealed. The coil ships without a built-in suppressor module, so any flyback diode or RC snubber must be added externally if the control circuit requires it.

The coil operates over an ambient temperature range of -5 to 55 °C. The DC wide-range control circuit accepts 30 V DC nominal, so verify the supply rail is stable within the 0.85 to 1.1 Uc window — a sagging 24 V DC bus will not reliably pick this coil. No built-in suppressor means the installer must add a free-wheeling diode across the coil terminals if the DC drive circuit does not already provide one. Without it, the inductive kick on dropout can damage PLC output cards or relay contacts driving the coil.
