Its control circuit is a 33 V DC low-consumption type, without a built-in suppressor module — meaning you need to add external flyback suppression (a diode or RC snubber) across the coil terminals if driving from a PLC output or solid-state relay that can't handle the inductive kick.
Electrical and Timing Characteristics
Operating time is 45 to 60 ms opening, 50 to 60 ms closing. That's within the typical range for a contactor coil of this size — fast enough for motor starting and general switching, but not a high-speed application. The coil draws a 0.99 Ω inrush at 20 °C, settling to 258 Ω holding at the same temperature; the low holding resistance keeps power dissipation down once the contactor is sealed in. Control voltage limits are specified: dropout occurs between 0.2 and 0.35 Uc at 55 °C (about 6.6 to 11.6 V DC), and operational pickup is guaranteed between 0.85 and 1.1 Uc at the same temperature (28 to 36.3 V DC). If your control supply sags below 28 V DC at the coil terminals, the contactor may not pull in reliably.
This coil mounts directly onto the FK-series contactor's magnet system. It's a service part — you replace the coil, not the whole contactor, which is the typical approach for a Tier-1 automotive line where full part genealogy and zero-defect traceability are required. The coil itself carries no serialized traceability, so ensure your line-side replacement procedure captures the contactor's nameplate data before swapping.
