The LX4FL027 is a DC low-consumption contactor coil from the Schneider TeSys range, built to swap into an FK-series contactor that needs a 27 V DC pull-in and hold. That 27 V DC control voltage is the spec that decides fit — not the common 24 V, so don't assume a standard 24 V coil will drop in. The coil has no built-in suppressor module, so you'll want to add a free-wheeling diode or an RC snubber across the terminals if your PLC output or relay driving it doesn't already handle the inductive kick.
Opening time runs 40 to 50 ms, closing time 60 to 70 ms — that's the full stroke, not just the armature pickup. For a safety circuit or a fast-cycling load, those numbers tell you the contactor won't respond faster than about 40 ms, so plan your timing budget accordingly. The coil holds in at 85 % of rated voltage (23 V DC) and drops out between 20 % and 35 % (5.4 to 9.5 V DC), which means it's tolerant of a sagging bus but won't chatter on a low-voltage brownout.
