What this RCBO does on the panel
The MGN19747 is a 4-pole residual current breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) from the Acti9 DCP Vigi range, rated at 32 A with a 30 mA earth-leakage sensitivity and a B-curve magnetic trip (3–5 × In). The 6 kA breaking capacity (Icn at 380–415 V AC, 50 Hz, per EN/IEC 61009-2-1) is sized for residential and light commercial sub-distribution where fault levels stay under that threshold. The integrated earth-leakage block saves a separate RCD module and one wiring step — a space and labour win on a multi-way board.
32 A rated current (In) with thermal-magnetic trip — the thermal element handles sustained overloads, the magnetic element clears short-circuits above 3–5 × In. For a 32 A circuit, that means the RCBO will hold a 32 A continuous load and trip on a sustained overload above that, while the magnetic trip will clear a hard fault somewhere between 96 A and 160 A. The 30 mA earth-leakage sensitivity is the standard for personal protection against indirect contact in TN and TT systems. Breaking capacity of 6 kA Icn at 380–415 V AC per EN/IEC 61009-2-1, with an Icu of 6 kA per EN/IEC 60947-2. If your site study shows a higher fault level, step up to a 10 kA rated device.
Integration notes
The IP20 finger-safe front and IP40 modular enclosure mean it is suited for enclosed distribution boards only — not for wet or outdoor locations without a weatherproof cabinet. Local signalling shows ON, OFF, and fault trip via the toggle position. The contact position indicator confirms isolation status. Not padlockable, so if lockout/tagout is required, plan for a separate lockable isolator upstream.
