The MGN60612 is a Schneider Electric C60H miniature circuit-breaker from the Multi9 range, a single-pole thermal-magnetic MCB rated 6 A at 50 °C with a C curve (magnetic trip at 8.5 x In ±20 %). For DC circuits, the 24 kA rating at 60 V DC is unusually high for a 1P 6 A breaker — useful in battery-backed DC bus or solar combiner boxes where short-circuit current can be stiff. The C curve means the magnetic release is set to trip between 5 and 10 times rated current — here 8.5 x In ±20 %, so roughly 41–61 A instantaneous. For motor starting duty you would normally step to a D curve, but for general distribution and lightly inductive loads the C curve is the standard choice. Mounting is on a 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail — 2 module pitches (18 mm per pole) wide.
It is suitable for isolation (full contact position indicator and ON/OFF indication on the toggle). The electrical endurance is rated at 10,000 cycles under load, mechanical endurance at 20,000 cycles — consistent with a distribution-grade device expected to see occasional switching, not daily motor starts. The Ics (service breaking capacity) is 50 % of Icu at 240 V AC (7.5 kA) and 415 V AC (2 kA), and 100 % at 60 V DC (24 kA). That means after clearing a fault at the Ics level the breaker can still be used — it may not be as good as new, but it won't be destroyed. For DC circuits the 100 % rating is a strong signal: the breaker can handle repeated DC faults at its full interrupting rating without replacement.
