The MGN60886 is a Schneider Electric C60N miniature circuit-breaker from the Multi9 range, rated 50 A at 50 °C per EN/IEC 60947-2 with a C-curve trip characteristic (magnetic threshold 8.5 x In ±20 %). That C-curve means it's the standard choice for general-purpose distribution circuits feeding mixed loads — lighting, small motors, control transformers — where inrush isn't extreme but you still need some headroom above resistive loads. The 20 kA Icu at 240 V AC phase-to-phase tells you it can safely interrupt a fault up to that level without welding contacts or cascading upstream; at 415 V AC that drops to 10 kA Icu, and at 440 V AC to 6 kA Icu, so verify your available fault current at the installation point. The Ics (service breaking capacity) is 75 % of Icu at each voltage level — 15 kA at 240 V AC, 7.5 kA at 415 V AC, 4.5 kA at 440 V AC — meaning after clearing one fault at that level the breaker is still functional, not necessarily still rated for full interruption again.
Snaps onto a 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail, fixed mounting, 2-pole wide (36 mm, 4 x 9 mm pitches). Tunnel-type terminals accept 1.5 to 35 mm² flexible or rigid wire; strip length 14 mm, torque to 3.5 N·m. IP20 finger-safe front. Compatible with comb busbars top or bottom. The separate earth-leakage block (Vigi add-on) clips onto the same footprint if you need residual current protection later.
