DC-rated MCB for distribution panels
It's a 2-pole unit rated 63 A at 50 °C with a B curve (magnetic trip at 5.5 x In +/- 20% DC). The 20 kA breaking capacity at 250 V DC means it can safely interrupt high-fault DC arcs — a different failure mode than AC, which is why this part carries its own EN/IEC 60947-2 listing.
Breaking capacity and voltage ratings
Breaking capacity varies with system voltage: 20 kA Icu at 220 V DC and 250 V DC, 10 kA at 440 V DC, and 6 kA at 500 V DC. Rated operational voltage options are 220 V DC, 250 V DC, 440 V DC, and 500 V DC. For a 250 V DC bus — common in telecom or solar combiner boxes — the full 20 kA is available. At 500 V DC the breaker still holds 6 kA, which covers most battery-bank or UPS distribution applications.

Durability and environmental ratings
Mechanical durability is rated at 20,000 cycles; electrical durability at 3,000 cycles with L/R = 2 ms (a standard DC time constant). IP20 at the terminals, IP40 on the modular enclosure. Tropicalisation class 2 per IEC 60068-2 means it's treated against humidity and mould — relevant for warm, non-air-conditioned enclosures. Relative humidity tolerance is 95% at 55 °C.
Dual and triple cable entries are supported: two cables up to 16 mm² each, or three 4 mm² cables. Strip length 14 mm. The breaker is padlockable for lockout/tagout.
