The Schneider Electric MGN61866 is a Multi9 C60H-DC miniature circuit breaker, single-pole, rated 13 A at 50 °C with a K-curve magnetic trip at 12 x In. It is built for DC networks up to 250 V DC and clips onto a DIN rail — standard panel integration for distribution boards and control cabinets.
Rated at 20 kA Icu at 110 V DC and 10 kA Icu at 220 V DC per EN/IEC 60947-2, this breaker can safely interrupt a fault up to those levels without welding contacts or cascading upstream. On a 110 V DC bus — common in telecom and industrial control — the 20 kA rating covers most battery-backed supplies. At 220 V DC the 10 kA figure still handles substantial fault currents from solar strings or UPS banks.
Strip 14 mm and torque to 2.5 N.m. IP20 finger-safe with the modular enclosure; IP40 when installed in a panel.
K-curve trip characteristic
The K curve trips magnetically at 12 x In (156 A for this 13 A unit), ±20 %. This is designed for DC loads with moderate inrush — think contactor coils, solenoids, or DC motor drives — where a B curve would nuisance-trip but a Z curve would be too slow. Thermal-magnetic trip unit handles the overload side.
