Frame and electrical fit — 70 mm flange, 122 mm body
The MH30701P16A2200 is a 70 mm flange-size servo motor with a 122 mm body length — this frame class typically mates with Lexium 52 or 62 drive families across a range of supply voltages. Rated for three-phase supply, the motor delivers 930 W continuous power with a nominal torque of 1.38 N.m at 1250 rpm when paired with an LXM52 or LXM62 drive at 115 V three-phase. The single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides absolute position feedback within one revolution — suitable for applications that need position hold at power-down without a multi-turn battery backup.
Torque and speed capability across the drive range
Nominal torque varies with the drive and supply: 1.38 N.m at 115 V three-phase with both LXM52 and LXM62 drives, dropping to 1.27 N.m at 480 V three-phase — the torque constant is 0.79 N.m/A at 120 °C copper temperature. Peak stall torque reaches 4.2 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, giving a 3:1 overload margin over the continuous stall torque of 1.4 N.m — useful for acceleration transients and breakaway loads. Maximum mechanical speed is 8000 rpm, though nominal speeds are drive-limited to 1250–7000 rpm depending on the supply voltage and drive model selected.
Mechanical interface and environmental sealing
The shaft is 11 mm diameter with a parallel key and 23 mm shaft length — the centring collar is 60 mm diameter with a 2.5 mm depth, and four 5.5 mm mounting holes on the 70 mm flange bolt circle. IP65 rating means the housing is dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets — suitable for washdown areas in food processing or machining coolant splash zones, but not for submersion or high-pressure spray. Maximum radial force at the shaft nose is 660 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 360 N at 6000 rpm — belt-drive or direct-coupling designs must respect this envelope to avoid bearing overload.
