Motor sizing and drive pairing
The MH30702P16A2200 is a 1380 W continuous-power servo motor from Schneider Electric's MH3 series, designed for three-phase supply. The continuous stall torque is 2.48 N.m across the 115...480 V range, with a peak stall torque of 7.4 N.m — the ratio tells you the short-term overload margin for acceleration and deceleration phases. Nominal torque depends on the drive voltage and type: 2.37 N.m at 115 V three-phase, 2.23 N.m at 230 V single-phase, 2.01 N.m at 400 V three-phase, and 1.89 N.m at 480 V three-phase. The nominal speed follows the same pattern — 1250 rpm at 115 V up to 7000 rpm at 480 V — so the drive voltage selection directly sets the speed-torque envelope.
Environmental sealing and cable routing
IP65 standard means the motor body is sealed against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets — suitable for washdown areas in food processing or dusty packaging lines. The rotatable right-angled connectors let you orient the cable exit in tight cabinets without adding a separate junction box. Maximum radial force at the shaft is derated with speed: 710 N at 1000 rpm down to 390 N at 6000 rpm. This is the bearing load limit — an overhung pulley or belt drive must stay below the curve at the operating speed.
