Motor ratings and voltage-dependent performance
The SH32051P01F2200 is a three-phase servo motor from the SH3 series, delivering 5.5 kW continuous power at 400 V three-phase input. Its nominal speed shifts with the supply voltage: 750 rpm on 115 V single-phase, 1500 rpm on 230 V single-phase, 3000 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 3600 rpm on 480 V three-phase. Nominal torque also varies by voltage: 282.3 lbf·in (31.9 N·m) at 115 V single-phase, 239.0 lbf·in (27 N·m) at 230 V single-phase, 154.9 lbf·in (17.5 N·m) at 400 V three-phase, and 122.1 lbf·in (13.8 N·m) at 480 V three-phase. Peak stall torque reaches 973.6 lbf·in (110 N·m) across the 115–480 V three-phase range.
Encoder, brake, and environmental sealing
Fitted with an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder, this motor provides position feedback without a homing cycle on power-up — critical for applications that must resume from a known position after a power loss or emergency stop. An integral holding brake delivers 708.06 lbf·in (80 N·m) of holding torque, securing the load when the drive is disabled. The motor carries IP65 protection on the housing and shaft bushing per IEC 60034-5, with IP67 on the housing — suitable for washdown environments in food processing or packaging lines. The rotatable right-angled connector allows the cable exit to be oriented to fit tight cable-tray routing, and the smooth shaft (no keyway) simplifies coupling selection for direct-drive or belt-driven loads.
