The 3RT1055-6QP35: The pick-up range is 0.8x to 1.1x of rated value, so at 200 V nominal the coil sees minimum 160 V and maximum 220 V before the magnet drops out. For a conveyor motor running at AC-3, that means one start every ~4.8 seconds continuous — well within a normal material-handling cycle, but a high-speed indexing application would exceed the AC-4 ceiling. The 10 A at 24 V figure is the limit for a single auxiliary circuit; daisy-chaining multiple loads across one contact reduces the current per load.
Mounting, clearances, and enclosure fit
Mounting is screw fixing only — no DIN-rail clip on this S6 frame. The unit bolts directly to the backplate through a single 9 mm hole. The 170 mm depth (172 mm height, 140 mm width) means the contactor occupies about 0.024 m³ of panel volume — plan the enclosure depth at least 190 mm to clear the forward arc space. Degree of protection is IP00 on the terminals, IP20 on the front with the cover or box terminal installed. In a panel with IP54 or higher rating, the contactor itself doesn't need a separate enclosure — the panel door provides the seal. For open-chassis installations, the IP20 front cover is mandatory.
Sourcing and lifecycle — active production, quoted to order
For a panel in an unconditioned enclosure in a hot climate, the 55 °C ceiling means the contactor must be derated above 40 °C ambient — the 1.1x full-scale factor at 55 °C is the thermal limit, not the continuous current rating.
