SENTRON 3VA1010-2ED32-0BA0 — 100 A MCCB with TM210 Trip Unit
The Siemens 3VA1010-2ED32-0BA0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous current, configured as a 3-pole line-protection device with a TM210 thermal-magnetic trip unit. At 240 V it interrupts 52.5 kA; at 415 V that drops to 32 kA, at 440 V to 13.6 kA, and at 690 V to 7.5 kA — so the available fault current at the panelboard determines which voltage class governs the installation.
Current Derating and Thermal Profile
The 100 A rating holds flat from 40 °C through 50 °C. At 55 °C it derates to 96 A, at 60 °C to 94 A, at 65 °C to 92 A, and at 70 °C to 90 A. If the panel ambient runs above 50 °C, the continuous load must be reduced accordingly — the 90 A floor at 70 °C still leaves headroom for most motor circuits, but a 100 A continuous load in a hot enclosure will nuisance-trip on the thermal element.
The breaker measures 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, and 70 mm deep. Three-pole width at 76.2 mm is standard for a 100 A frame — it occupies one 3-pole space in a SENTRON distribution panelboard or a separate enclosure. Operating temperature range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C.
