What this breaker carries
The Siemens 3VA1063-2ED36-0KH0 is a 3-pole IEC frame 100 circuit breaker from the 3VA1 series, rated for line protection with a TM210 thermal-magnetic trip unit. Overload protection is fixed at Ir = 63 A; short-circuit protection is fixed at Ii = 10 × In. The breaking capacity class B delivers Icu = 16 kA at 415 V AC, which means it can safely interrupt a fault current up to that level on a 415 V three-phase supply without upstream cascading — a standard requirement for main or sub-distribution boards in industrial panels.
Integrated accessories
This variant ships with a shunt trip (STL) rated 220–250 V DC / 208–277 V AC, plus two auxiliary switches (HQ) and one trip alarm switch (HQ). The shunt trip allows remote tripping from a PLC or emergency-stop circuit; the auxiliary switches signal breaker position back to the control system. All connections are clamp-type, which speeds panel wiring and reduces torque verification compared to screw terminals.
