Extended-range logic module for harsh environments
The Siemens 6AG1052-1HB08-7BA1 is a SIPLUS variant of the LOGO! 24RCE, built for environments where standard units won't hold up. That makes it a direct fit for cold-chain logistics, outdoor enclosures, or washdown zones where moisture and temperature swings kill uncoated electronics.
I/O count and relay ratings
The module provides 8 digital inputs and 4 relay outputs. The relay contacts are rated 10 A resistive and 3 A inductive — enough to switch small contactors or solenoid valves directly without an interposing relay. Note that there is no built-in short-circuit protection on the outputs; external fusing per channel is required. The 24 V AC/DC supply range spans 20.4 V to 28.8 V DC and 47 Hz to 63 Hz AC. The 480-hour power reserve holds the program and retentive data through extended power outages without a backup battery.
That's the same footprint as the standard LOGO! 24RCE, so it swaps into an existing panel layout without re-drilling or re-wiring the gland plate. The onboard display is readable from 0 °C to 55 °C; outside that band the response time may slow and contrast may drop, but the effect reverses on return to normal temperature. For applications that stay below 0 °C or above 55 °C, plan on remote HMI or web-server access via the integrated Ethernet port.
This SIPLUS variant is based on the standard LOGO! 24RCE order code 6ED1052-1HB08-0BA1. If your line already runs the 0BA1 and you're upgrading for a harsh-area retrofit, the wiring and program transfer directly — the microSD card and LOGO! Soft Comfort V8.3 or higher handle the migration.
