Reversing Contactors

Reversing contactors pair two contactors with a mechanical or electrical interlock so a three-phase motor can be driven in either direction without a short across phases. Common configurations include open-style (DIN rail or panel mount) and enclosed/NEMA 4 versions, with coil voltages from 24 VDC through 480 VAC and motor ratings typically spanning NEMA size 00 through 4.
