I/O and performance specifications
The TM200CE40U: Discrete inputs are Type 1, sink or source (positive/negative logic). High-speed inputs (I0, I1, I6, I7) respond turn-on in 5 µs, turn-off in 5 µs; fast inputs (I2–I5) respond turn-on 35 µs, turn-off 100 µs; regular inputs (I8–I23) respond turn-on 35 µs, turn-off 100 µs and I14–I23 at 55 µs turn-on, 125 µs turn-off. Per the datasheet, the response times are per terminal grouping. Outputs are transistor sink type with overload and short-circuit protection at 3.8 A. Fast outputs Q0 and Q1 support PWM/PLS mode at 100 kHz. Output response time is 1 ms turn-on and turn-off. Four fast inputs can be configured as HSC (quadrature, pulse/direction, single phase, CW/CCW) at 100 kHz, 32 bits. The controller includes an adjustable PID regulator supporting up to 14 simultaneous loops.
Memory, backup, and clock
Program backup uses 512 bytes internal flash. A BR2032 lithium battery maintains data for 3 years at 25°C during power interruption. The RTC drift is specified as ≤90 seconds per month at 25°C.
Communication interfaces
Built-in Ethernet (Modbus TCP) at 10/100 Mbit/s over RJ45. Two serial ports: RS232 (3 m bus length) and RS485 (15 m bus length), both configurable 1.2…115.2 kbit/s, default 115.2 kbit/s. USB 2.0 Mini B for programming. LEDs on the front panel indicate power, run, error, battery, SD card access, and Ethernet link/activity.
Power and environmental ratings
Supply voltage 20.4…28.8 VDC. Inrush current 35 A. Pollution degree 2. Operating temperature range not explicitly stated in the spec list, but relative humidity limits are 10…95% non-condensing in operation and storage. Vibration resistance: 3.5 mm at 5…8.4 Hz on DIN rail, 1 gn at 8.4…150 Hz; panel mount: 3.5 mm at 5…8.7 Hz, 2 gn at 8.7…150 Hz. Shock: 15 gn for 11 ms, 30 gn for 6 ms. Operating altitude 0…2000 m, storage altitude 0…3000 m.
Regulatory and compliance
Marked CE. Designed to IEC 61131-2 (programmable controllers) and IEC 61010-2-201 (control equipment safety). Insulation between input and internal logic is 500 V AC; between output and internal logic 500 V AC; between supply and internal logic 500 V DC.
